Gaskets
HEAD GASKETS (CA)
DC head gaskets manufactured in graphite (DC 100 GE Graphite-Sheet-Graphite) are suitable for old engines and ideal for recent ones (bimetallic) because of its high adaptability to surfaces with small imperfections or scratches caused by their rectification or cleanness. As well, graphite head gaskets are adequate when cylinder head presents a light curve and no rectification is needed according to original equipment engine manufacturer specifications. Head gaskets manufactured in multilayer steel is ideal for semi new or not very used engines where it is sought to maintain them as original. Preferentially, in this case, it is not rectified. It is advisable to check aluminum has no impurities, scratches or curves. If surfaces are extremely smooth when installing the multilayer head gasket, a very precise torque must be applied in order to get the optimal performance.

INTAKE, EXHAUST AND PLENUM MANIFOLD GASKET (MS)
Intake, exhaust and plenum manifold gasket are manufactured in DC 300 (steel sheet and synthetic fiber), DC Play (synthetic fiber outside and steel sheet in the middle), special rubbers (silicon, Viton®) and in some original cases, in thermoplastic. Thermoplastic original type gaskets are appropriate for plastic or aluminum engine plenum and manifold where only this kind of gaskets can be installed. The same thing occur for those intake and plenum designs where only rubber (leagues) gaskets can be installed. For intake and plenum manifold whose sealing surfaces are flat, DC has designed gaskets with a larger seal area in order to provide a better performance. When both surfaces are metallic and generally the engine is old, exhaust manifold gaskets are manufactured in DC 100 GE (Graphite- Steel sheet- Graphite). The same way, exhaust pipe gaskets are made in DC 100 GE to resist high temperatures and exhaust gases pressure. The most innovative exhaust manifold designs for modern engines includes manufacture in multilayer.

VALVE COVER GASKET (VS) and TIMING COVER GASKET (TC)
Timing and valve cover gaskets are manufactured in polymers such as polyacrilat, silicon, nitrile and Viton®, which resist high temperatures of modern engines and offer an optimal seal. For older engines this types of gaskets are produced in one-piece cork-rubber (without joints).

OIL PAN GASKET (OS)
DC oil pan gaskets are manufactured in cork-rubber, silicon rubbers and polyacrilats which are resistant to high temperatures and provide an exact compressibility for a perfect seal.

MISCELLANEOUS GASKETS, PUMP WATER GASKET (ES) and TIMING COVER GASKET (TC)
Soft pump water gaskets, timing cover gaskets and others are manufactured with fiber sheets (Kevlar, glass fiber and ceramic fibers) highly resistant to fluids like oil, water and solvents (gasoline).

* Many of DC gaskets includes in their design a elastomeric vein that allow an excellent seal in those damaged or imperfect surfaces caused by the use and reparation of engine.
