VALVE SEALS (SV)
DC’s valve seals are characterized by its excellence in fluid crossing control since they are manufactured with polymers as polyacrilat, silicon and Viton®, materials whose properties help to get a precise seal and have a great resistance to high temperatures.
IMPORTANT, DC's valve seals are offered in two ways:
- With "SV" prefix -as appears in this document- is for sales in bulk.

With "SS" prefix for set according to the engine valve number.
WARNING: When seals serves for engines with specific cylinder number, be sure to ask for the correct set with the prefix "SS". For example: If you need SV-81310 for specific 4 cylinder engine, so you should ask for SS-81310. On the other hand, there are some seals that serves for 4, 6 as well as 8 cylinder engines. For example: If you need a seal set of SV-8160-V, you should ask for SS-8160-V and specify the engine where they will be installed. So if it is a GM V8, the seal set will be labeled as SS-8160-16V, indicating that it contains 16 seals.
Verify the seal you will use is the correct one by checking the valve diameter and guide, in order to avoid confusion.
